Accommodation

For affordable accommodation near to Trinity College and the primary conference venue, ATRL, we recommend the Pearse Hotel, which is located on Pearse Street, on the same street and a few blocks down from ATRL. Also on Pearse Street is the Trinity Capital Hotel.

Getting to Dublin from outside Ireland

Dublin is served by Dublin Airport.

Taxi fare from Dublin Airport to the city centre/Trinity College is approximately €25. Alternate modes of transportation to the city centre include Aircoach (€7 single, €12 return), Airlink (€6 single, €10 return), and the 16a Dublin Bus (€2.20 single). Fares beyond the centre of town (including the major hotel destinations which are serviced by Aircoach) may be moderately higher.

The city may also be accessed via ferry from the UK to Dublin Port or Dun Laoghaireharbour.

Getting to Dublin from inside Ireland and Northern Ireland

Dublin is served by train to Heuston Station on the Cork, Tralee, Limerick, Galway, Westport, Ballina and Waterford lines, and to Connolly Station on the Sligo, Wexford, Rosslare Europort and Belfast lines.
